I shot the gun with the new stock the other week, all good, shoots well, the extra weight of the stock over the crappy plastic factory stock makes a big difference as does the Limbsaver recoil pad. Overall, the new GunworX Laminated stock has made the Tikka T3 in 300 Win Mag go from unwieldy to consistently shootable.
The impressive thing was that the fit and finish of the stock was as good as if not better than the factory stock and when installing the gun in the new stock, you had nothing to do but drop it in on top of the in built recoil lug, bolt it together and then go and shoot it.
I've had factory guns turn up where the barrel channel wasn't straight, the barrel off centre but with the GunworX stock, it was absolutely spot on, perfectly aligned, 100% floated but importantly a tight fit where the action goes which was amazing considering they didn't have my gun to work from.
It also means that the in built recoil lug that comes as part of the stock is located exactly where it should be and is a great feature.
Having purchased replacement stocks that have been Roughed out on a stock duplicator - which require a heap of work to get up to scratch, you can tell by the precision of the cuts and the finish that the GunworX stocks are made on a CNC machine.

"The Monte Carlo Laminated stock is an absolute cracker. Its fit and finish are exemplary.
The action in letting is a perfect size-for-size fit and the aluminium recoil pillar appears sturdier than that in the original T3 stock.
There is no floating required; after the barrelled action was screwed snugly down, a business card was able to slide right up under the knox form.
The trigger guard and magazine housing also fit flush and firm.
The palm swell fills the palm without being bulky and the Limbsaver recoil pad speaks for itself.
I rate this stock as far superior to the factory laminated stock on my Savage HMR."
