Hi Nigel.
Back on deck now, took a couple of days off and went into the mountains to look for some spring venison, seemed the write thing to do with the old [new] rifle. As expected the T3 with the new stock was a delight to carry and especially to use.I find you can really climb into it and get a hell of a lot better cheek,shoulder,stock weld. Really love the ergonomics of the thumbhole pistol grip, just fits like a glove.

The rifle definately shoots better, just prior to my trip i took it out to my makeshift range to get reaquainted with what seemed like a new and completely different rifle, boy it was fun to use and pulled off some real comfortable 1.5" groups at 300 metres with 130 gn hornady sst factory loads, I was out at the same range 3 weeks before and over the same range, same weather conditions, and same ammo but old stock, the best I could do was 4" groups. I suspect a combination of possibly the rifle shooting a little better, and definately the shooter [me] being able to do his job a lot better.

In short, a great upgrade for a well used old rifle, totally transformed the gun actually, I was on the point of selling it just prior to finding your stock on the net, not a bad shooting rifle , I just couldnt get into it. Not now though, TIKKAS forever.

So to summarise, great service at your end thanks Nigel, good response, advice and sharp delivery, 6 days from your door to mine, your help with the customs was appreciated. A dream to install took all of 2 minutes that includes double checking a few things, perfectly machined, and fits real snug. As near as I can tell its 700gms heavier than the old stock, which you can definately feel, but its all in the right places, It's softened the .270s recoil considerably, that recoil pad is a dandy.

I have sent some photos also, let me know if they are not good enough for you, I am not a very good camera man
I have no hesitation in recommending your service and stock to any prospective and current tikka owners
